Lift the Jesus Mirror to your face -
adoration is the wind that blows open
the door to love

Burn in the flame of this blazing sun -
evening will clothe your world in quiet
look out silently, welcoming the night

Quiver like a blade of grass
go dancing in the breeze
look, laughing, one with moonlight

Go on out, search through the streets
with a will to find but let not memory guide
love's voice will direct you to the lover

Drink from the glass
stammering, leave the bar
fall, then awaken at home, lost and alone

A flower wakens when
the world is asleep
mysteries appear eyes never see

Having forgotten all sense of self
seeking consummated in being found
rest in your lover's arms till morning

Grace awakens a smile
the world, again, is bright
a bird sings outside your window
